The Benefits & Intended Outcomes Of This Retreat

You will be taught & supported to move with less tension so that you feel more secure in your own sense of self.  Develop a greater understanding of why you do what you do so that you feel more empowered to be your true, authentic self. Become more aware of the internal dialogue that is holding you back from the life you desire. Develop a more kind, loving relationship with yourself.

You will be supported with Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, Sound Healing & other powerful (yet gentle) mindfulness practices to inhabit your body in a way which requires less of what you’ve always done, so that you experience a new way to move through everyday life.

 

You will learn new skills that you can take back home with you & use in your everyday life that will bring more ease in the way that you move and interact with others.

About Your Retreat Leader:  Mel Love

Based in London with her two teenage children, Mel enjoys connecting people with their own, unique rhythm which supports a way of moving through life that feels more authentic. She has experienced first-hand what it is like to live with post-traumatic stress disorder and overcome generational dysfunction. Since 2018, her work has focused on somatic therapies that facilitate healing trauma.  She identifies with this being her purpose, her true calling and passion.

 

A qualified Yoga Teacher and Sound Healer, Mel also has an interest in Psychology and has studied Counselling skills with The Minster Centre in London. She is also a devoted student of The Alexander Technique, training with Anthony Kingsley. She studied Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) in Poland with the gifted Satyarthi Peloquin who worked with world renowned, Osho as his body worker. 

 

She holds space regularly for people of all ages & levels (online and in person) and offers mental health support for people suffering with trauma and illness. Well known as an expert in the field of healing and wellbeing she is also frequently invited to write articles connected to these topics.​

 

Mel believes the recipe for deep, integrative healing is relational and that we need to feel supported in a way that we haven't yet experienced. We need to feel safe in order to process difficult emotions and experiences from the past and integrate them like we digest a meal so that we are no longer overwhelmed and consumed by the past. Mel has done and continues to do the work so that she can be present to facilitate the space that you need to do yours.

Mel works with our guests to create a safe & relaxed environment & due to our intimate group sizes, we pride ourselves on guests receiving a very personal retreat experience.  Below you will find details of what a typical day during this retreat may involve.

Morning Session
0800hrs - 0930hrs

A vibrant wake up call with Mel on our yoga platform - absorbing the sweeping landscape views, incorporating breathwork & more.....

Breakfast
0930hrs - 1030hrs

Continental Buffet Breakfast Served in the Communal Dining Area

Down Time
1030 - 1130hrs

Head back to bed.  Take a shower.  Head out for a walk or a run.  The choice is yours!  But down time is extremely important during your stay.  Want to chat?  The team are on hand to engage with you during your stay but dont forget that your complementary journal is also an integral part of our experience and well-being.   

Afternoon Session
1130-1300hrs

Your afternoon session with Mel will begin.  

Lunch
1330 - 1500hrs

Take time to re-energise.  Get to know your fellow guests better.  Engage with the onsite team.   Lunch is served buffet or in a shared meal environment with guests all enjoying our communal dining area whilst taking in the nature around them.

Down Time
1500 - 1730hrs

She has done and continues to do the work so that she can be fully present to facilitate the space for you to do yours. Are you ready? If not now, then when?

Evening Session
1800 1930hrs

Your evening session with Mel will begin.  

Dinner
1930 - 2100hrs

Your included evening meal will be served where you can unwind, share stories & relax with your fellow guests.  Our team will also be on-hand to share the evening with you.  

Quiet Time & Reflection
2200hrs onwards

Take in the night sky - observe the Milky Way & star constellations.  Meditate.  Read.  Or simply be.  During this part of the day we suggest that guests might like to spend the late evening reflecting on their day & considering the one to come.

Your retreat includes shared accommodation in one of our luxurious glamping tents:

Emperor Tent 1:  3 guests

We will work with everyone to 'pair' tent mates in the most suitable manner.  If you would like sole occupancy of a tent, this can be arranged, but additional fees will apply.

Your retreat includes the following:

Day 1:

Tea, coffee & drinking water are included, unlimited throughout.

We do not include alcohol as part of our retreat packages, but our cash bar is available for those who wish to purchase alcohol responsibility.

Well-Being

Your package includes the following:

-  A welcome Group Spiritual Cleansing session with our Spiritual Healer, Raquel.  Everyone is invited to take part in this Opening Ceremony to cleanse themselves & to set your intentions for the retreat.  

-  This will be followed by a Welcome Meeting & Orientation.

Additional Spiritual Cleansing sessions are available on a 1-to-1 basis at an additional cost.
